Ideally located at the junction of the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal and Stroudwater canal the position of Saul Junction Marina provides access to a range of cruising routes.
From Gloucester, the canal offers access to the River Severn and on to Tewkesbury where the scenic River Avon meanders to the centre of Stratford-on-Avon and into the canal network. At Worcester you can join the Worcester and Birmingham Canal or staying on the river Severn passing Worcester will take you to the inland port of Stourport where you can access the Staffordshire and Worcester canal.
The Gloucester and Sharpness canal provides access to the sea and the canal is entered via a sea lock at Sharpness or from the Severn at Gloucester. The canal is picturesque with many points of interest along the way including:

- Commercial port of Sharpness
