On 23 March, the Government introduced three new measures, effective immediately, in the fight against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
• People are required to stay at home, except for very limited purposes, which include: shopping for basic necessities, one form of exercise a day, any medical need or travelling to and from work
• Non-essential shops and community spaces have been closed
• All gatherings of more than two people in public have been stopped
The Government have specified that essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays. People should remain in their primary residence. Where clients are already on site and have decided to remain, please follow the latest Government guidelines with regards to COVID-19 https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.
In light of this announcement, I am writing to inform you that in the best interest of employees and customers, we are reducing operations at Saul Junction Marina to essential services on reduced hours of 10.00 – 15.00, 7 days a week.
The marina office will remain open for services such as diesel, pump out, chandlery and shop, coal, kindling, electric cards and laundry tokens.
The boat sales office will now be closed however all brokerage boats will be available to view online and enquiries made via email to email@example.com.
Please note that we will only be accepting card payments until further notice. You may contact the marina office on 01452 740043 to pre order and pay for essentials which can then be collected or delivered for those in isolation. If you do need to visit the facilities building in person, we kindly request that you wash your hands on arrival and departure and maintain a minimum 2 metre distance from any other person at all times.
I urge you to please co-operate during this difficult time. The Government has advised that these measures are in place for an initial period of three weeks, at which time they will be reviewed. We will continue to update you as Government advice evolves.
