Boat Owners and Visitors

  • You may visit with guests of up to 6 people from two households indoors or 30 people outdoors.
  • Overnight stays can resume for all accommodation providers therefore you can stay overnight on your boat within the government guidelines.

From 21st June

  • The government hopes we can operate without any restrictions however this will be continually reviewed and further restrictions may have to be implemented.
  • All re-opening dates are subject to four national tests set out by the government, which we will continually review and act accordingly, therefore we ask that you check our COVID-19 update page regularly.

During your visit

  • The Government requires everyone to wear a face covering in a wide range of settings including shops, supermarkets, shopping centres, banks, beauty salons, vets and visitor attractions. You are also required to wear a face covering in hospitality premises (hotels, bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes), except when seated at a table to eat or drink. Some exceptions do apply. For full details, please visit: https://www.gov.uk/government/...
  • We therefore ask that you wear a face covering when visiting any of our public areas including the marina office, chandlery, brokerage and facilities buildings. Please adhere to this guidance at all times.
  • We politely request that if you or any members of your household have COVID-19 symptoms, please do not visit us, stay at home and self-isolate - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/...
  • Please pay by card or contactless.
  • Please observe all signage indicating entry and exit points and maximum occupancy numbers for facility buildings. When using jetties, please maintain social distancing restrictions.
  • Please sanitise your hands on entry to our buildings, hand sanitiser stations are available at entry and exit points.
  • We have created separate entry and exit points where possible.
  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting, paying extra attention to high-touch areas, using fogging machines and sanitiser.
  • Signage and information boards will be in place to remind customers and our team of social distancing and our new guidelines.
  • Protective screens have been installed at all workplace counters to protect our team and customers.
  • We are ventilating public areas and our facilities as much as possible to allow increased air circulation.
  • Please adhere to social distancing at all times. If you have children with you, please ensure they are supervised and adhering to social distancing at all times.
  • Please do not approach grounds staff whilst they are carrying out maintenance.
  • We are required to take your contact details and hold them for 21 days for the Government Test and Trace system.

Test and Trace

  • The government have updated their test and trace legal requirements.
  • All businesses in leisure, tourism, hospitality and close contact services must now ask every customer over the age of 16 to scan the NHS QR code using their NHS COVID-19 app, or provide their name and contact details, not just a lead member of the group.
  • Hospitality venues should verify that an individual has checked in using the QR code by reviewing the individual’s phone screen. This is not necessary if they have already provided their contact details.
  • If a customer does not use the NHS COVID-19 app, they must provide their name and contact details in an alternate format.
  • We must keep these records for 21 days and provide data to NHS Test and Trace if requested.
  • Hospitality venues must also take reasonable steps to refuse entry to anyone who refuses to participate.
